The Official Opening of the Eurokars Aftersales Centre


SINGAPORE, 26 October 2018 – Eurokars Group has taken a definitive step into the future of automotive aftersales services today with the official opening of the Eurokars Aftersales Centre – its new integrated aftersales facility which is fitted with state-of-the-art equipment and technology that will boost its capabilities in providing advanced aftersales services.

Designed to enhance Eurokars Group’s value proposition for its customers and redefine its aftersales services in the new era, the Eurokars Aftersales Centre strives to propel the luxury automotive experience to the next level.

This S$70 million and 430,000 square feet facility houses the Group’s after-sales operations and serves as an all-encompassing hub for repairs and maintenance; pre-delivery inspection; body repair and spray painting, as well as the warehousing of vehicles and parts. The vastness and design of the space on every floor allows for the synthesis of these key aftersales operations.

Located at 27A Tanjong Penjuru, the state-of-the-art Eurokars Aftersales Centre is conveniently situated in the western region of Singapore with easy access from the Ayer Rajah Expressway and West Coast Highway, and in close proximity to Eurokars Group’s showrooms along the Leng Kee automotive belt.

Launched today through an Official Opening Ceremony that is graced by Mr S Iswaran – the Minister for Communications and Information, and Minister-in-charge of Trade Relations, Ministry of Trade and Industry – the Eurokars Aftersales Centre is testament to Eurokars Group’s dedication to providing exceptional customer service, and leading-edge aftersales service and support.

The new Eurokars Aftersales Centre is the latest in a series of capital investments that Eurokars Group has anchored in both Singapore and Indonesia to bolster operational efficiency and productivity, and improve its service quality while meeting its customers’ aspirations for quality car ownership experiences. The Official Opening of this new facility comes on the heels of the Ground-breaking Ceremony of the Eurokars Group Corporate Headquarters at Kung Chong Road in Singapore which took place on 17 May 2017. Targeted for completion by 2020, the future Eurokars Group Corporate Headquarters in Singapore will be sized at 40,000 square feet with a total built-up area of 100,000 square feet. Prior to that, Eurokars Group Indonesia marked the Grand Opening of the Eurokars Group Indonesia Headquarters and Porsche Centre Jakarta in June 2017.

The Eurokars Aftersales Centre spans six stories and comprises the following facilities and operations:

Level 1 – Porsche service reception; customer lounge; workshop; pre delivery inspection centre, and high voltage repair room; Mazda new car delivery suites, and holding area for cars awaiting delivery

Enhanced Customer Experience at Every Touchpoint

The Eurokars Aftersales Centre aims to be an all-encompassing nexus for aftersales services whereby Eurokars Group’s customers can have a completely seamless and hassle-free experience from the moment they arrive at the service reception and customer lounge to the point of their departure with their vehicle. This is keeping with Eurokars Group’s continual efforts to increase customer satisfaction and enhance the overall customer experience.

At the Porsche Service Centre, the spacious Direct Dialogue Bays enable customers to jointly examine their vehicles with Service Advisors from every perspective. Likewise, at the Mazda Service Centre, consultations that are conducted at the Pre Acceptance Inspection area ensure that each customer receives personalised attention and no aspect of the car is left unexamined. At the Mazda customer lounge on level 2, customers will be treated to a premium Mazda experience and enjoy a host of amenities at the customer lounge which provides WiFi and charging stations for mobile devices; massage chairs, and complimentary refreshments and light bites. The Mazda customer service advisors are on hand to make the transition from sales to aftersales as effortless as possible for Mazda customers.

Similarly, while waiting for their car to be serviced or repaired by the well-trained and qualified Porsche technicians, Porsche customers can unwind in the customer lounge at level 1 which has a stylish ambience and a suite of comfortable amenities, as well as a showcase of Porsche Driver’s Selection merchandise.

State-of-the-art and Future-ready Facilities

The Eurokars Aftersales Centre is designed to propel Eurokars Group’s suite of aftersales services well into the future with myriad sophisticated equipment and technology, and ergonomic and modern facilities.

  • Porsche Service Centre at Level 1

The Porsche Service Centre (PSC) is equipped with modern cutting-edge technology fully capable of servicing and supporting the next generation of electric vehicles.

Highlights include:

  • Vehicle lifter bays with LED illumination and additional future expansion capacity which will translate into shorter appointment lead time for Porsche customers.

  • Direct dialogue bays which facilitate at car consultations between Porsche Customers and Service Advisors.

  • Wheel alignment bays that are fitted with the latest Porsche Approved 3D all wheel alignment equipment which will ensure the maximum safety of Porsche customers and the optimised lifespan of their car tyres.

  • Dedicated Tyre Service Bay with Porsche Approved fully computerised wheel balancing equipment.

  • Test Lane with Rolling Road Brake Testing, Suspension Side Slip Testing and Digital Headlight Alignment Testing to ensure optimum performance and safety.

  • State-of-the-art temperature controlled room which is ready for the next generation of electric and future car models.

  • Mazda Service Centre at Level 2

The new Mazda Service Centre symbolises Eurokars Group’s continued investment in the future growth of Mazda in Singapore and its pursuit of excellence in delivering the best-in-class customer service and experience. This new facility is provisioned with advanced equipment which cater to the next generation of Mazda vehicles, and keep abreast of the latest technological developments.

The Mazda workshop and Pre-Delivery Inspection area can accommodate more than 150 cars per day, and is equipped with special proprietary tools which comply with the exacting standards of Mazda Motor Corporation. It comprises six dialogue bays which are fitted with lifters for the inspection of the undercarriage of vehicles. Provision has been made to convert the bays into electric car ready workspaces. This substantial increase in capacity extends to the brand’s back-of-house operations in the pre delivery inspection centre and parts warehouse.

The new Mazda Service Centre also encompasses six dedicated new car delivery suites for customers to receive their new vehicles.

  • Eurokars Training Centre at level 3

Knowledge is a key driver of excellence for Eurokars Group which is committed to nurturing and developing human talent. In line with its mission of delivering exceptional car ownership experiences, Eurokars Group has established the Eurokars Training Centre.

The Eurokars Training Centre focuses on the training of New Technology, Automotive Repair and Maintenance for all the brands across Eurokars Group. It strives to inculcate high standards for all Eurokars Group employees not just in the area of technical skills but also non-technical skills such as customer service training.

It aims to enhance the skills and capabilities of its employees through innovative and cutting-edge training and development programmes that will raise their professionalism and level of service quality.

  • MINI Pre Delivery Inspection Centre and Central Parts Warehouse at level 4

MINI has expanded its PDI Centre facility and capacity to cater to increasing demand. As the new MINI PDI Centre is in the same location as MINI’s vehicle storage facility, this enhances manpower productivity and ensures that new MINI vehicles will come under better maintenance and quality control.

The more than 53,000 square feet Central Parts Warehouse for Porsche and Mazda aims to deliver the highest level of first time pick rates and on hand stock availability. The parts warehouse supplies parts to the existing service centres at 5 Ubi Close and Leng Kee Road, as well as authorised dealers.

  • Eurokars Bodycare Centre at level 5

The Eurokars Bodycare Centre aims to be at the forefront of developments in car repair technology and techniques. Advanced equipment are deployed in conjunction with rigorous quality checks to ensure that each and every vehicle under its care is restored to its pristine condition. As its customers’ safety is paramount, the Eurokars Bodycare Centre spares no effort in leveraging the latest equipment with computerised measuring features which enable high precision repairs that will restore cars to their roadworthy condition in accordance with manufacturers’ standards.

Its state-of-the-art equipment encompasses the following:

  • Technologically Advanced collision repair equipment with computer aided measuring system for precision repairs with timely updates for new vehicle models.

  • Dust-free Paint Booths customised to accommodate a wide range of vehicles including one which can fit extended wheelbase cars like the Rolls-Royce Phantom.

  • Specialised booths designed for intricate body repairs.

  • Diagnostic bays for complete assessment of car body and under-carriage condition for damages.

  • Purpose-built light tunnel for in-depth final inspection of paintwork.
